Award Description

CAPA offers stipends for Summer 2005 ($8,750 for Assistant, Associate and Full Professors) to provide two months support for creative and performing arts projects.  The Board also welcomes applications for a one-month award ($4,375 for Assistant, Associate and Full Professors) from those faculty members that will teach half-time in the summer school or who have other sources of partial support for their projects.  The awards are restricted to faculty members on 9, 9.5 or 10 month contracts who are engaged in creative and performing arts projects not funded from other sources during the summer, and who are not otherwise engaged in teaching activities except as stated above.   Additional expenses can be provided only under exceptional circumstances.
