Credentials

Dr. Fetter is a member of the National Academies' Committee on International Security and Arms Control, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Infrastructure Experts Team, and the U.S. Department of Energy Nuclear Energy Research Advisory Committee. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society and a recipient of its Joseph A. Burton Forum Award for contributions to the public understanding of issues at the interface of physics and society. He served as vice chairman of the Federation of American Scientists and received its Hans Bethe 'Science in the Public Service' award.
