Credentials

Dr. Justice is the Science Team Member and leader of the Land Discipline Group for the NASA Moderate Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) responsible for the MODIS Fire Product and the Rapid Response System. He is the co-investigator on the AVHRR Pathfinder II Project and the Landsat Pathfinder Humid Tropical Forest Monitoring Project.

Dr. Justice is the Project Scientist for NASA'’s Land Cove and Land Use Change Program. He chaired the design team for Land Use and Land Cover Change Element of the US Global Change Research Program/Climate Change Science Plan. He is also a member of the Science Advisory Panel for the NOAA Office of Global Programs and a member of the Strategic Objective Team for AID'’s Central Africa Regionl Project for the Environment (CARPE)
