Credentials

Dr. Segal has served as the Chair, Scientific Advisory Committee for U.S. Army Research Institute’s Army Family Research Program. She has been a member of the National Academy of Science's Committee on Performance of Military Personnel, a Human Resource consultant to Secretary of the Army, and Special assistant to the U.S. Army Chief of Staff.

Dr. Segal was a member of Congressional Commission on Military Training and Gender-Related Issues. Her books include “Peacekeepers and their Wives: American Participation in the Multinational Force and Observers.”
