Involved in emergency management prevention, planning, preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation.

Credentials

Mr. Strickland is the deputy director of the state's emergency management agency serving state government in the reorganization of emergency management. He has served as the Chair of the Maryland Terrorism Forum's Training Workgroup. He is involved with the International Fire Service Training Association, Maryland Fire Service Personnel Qualifications Board, the Chesapeake Society of Fire and Rescue Instructors and the Maryland Council of Fire and Rescue Academies. He has been active in Maryland fire, rescue and emergency medical services for more than 30 years.
