| Subject: | Hands-on Grants.gov Training Session for NIH Proposals using Adobe Forms |
NIH has required that applications for R01, R03, and R21 funding opportunites be submitted electronically through Grants.gov for the past few years. This year, NIH will require that these applications are completed using the new Adobe-based forms beginning for the June submissions.
There are a number of requirements to be aware of when completing these forms, including that the application must be saved, opened, completed, and submitted using only Adobe Reader version 8.1.2.
ORAA will conduct a hands-on training session for these NIH Adobe form submissions to Grants.gov so that individual investigators and business staff can be made aware of the requirements for the Adobe forms and the NIH applications.
Please join us on Tuesday May 6, 2008 in room 3330 of the Computer Space Sciences building from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM for this session. Participation is limited to 20 individuals. Based on the level of interest, other sessions may be added. Please forward this e-mail or the attached announcement as you see fit.
Please contact Sally Egloff at segloff@umresearch.umd.edu to register.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Regards,
Sally Egloff, Asst. Manager eRA Programs, ORAA
