Subject: Reminder Regarding University’s Spring Break Closings & Proposal Processing

This is ORAA’s reminder regarding the University’s scheduled closing for spring break and the need for timely proposal submissions. The University will be closed March 16 and 17. In order to ensure return of endorsed proposals back to you before the break, it is important that proposals are received in ORAA no later than Tuesday, March 10, 2009. The deadline for ORAA submission of proposals that must go through Grants.gov is Friday, March 13, 2009.

Any proposals which are submitted to ORAA LATER than the above schedule may run the risk of not being reviewed and approved through the University’s routing process by the sponsor’s deadline date. Please share this information with faculty within your departments.

We greatly appreciate your cooperation in these matters.
