Human Subjects Research
All personnel submitting NIH applications or contract proposals, or receiving new or non-competing awards for research involving human subjects, must be certified as having completed an educational course or tutorial on the protection of human subjects from research risks. To complete this requirement and qualify for an NIH certification letter, please reference the procedures as posted on the IRB website.
New Faculty Orientation
Each year, at the end of August, an orientation program for all new university faculty is held. The program is for all new faculty (all ranks of professors, lecturers, research faculty, extension agents, visiting faculty) who have begun at the university in the past twelve months. Please visit the Office of Faculty Affairs to learn about the next orientation session.
